Versatile and busy actor during much of the radio years, he appeared on such programs as Lux Radio Theatre, One Man’s Family, The Great Gildersleeve and Glamour Manor. He was born February 14, 1912 and was 72 when we met at his home in Van Nuys, California to chat about his career, which easily moved to TV with hundreds of small-screen appearances on such shows as Bonanza and Climax. He died July 4, 2003 at age 91.
