   You certainly had a great set of sideburns in 1970! I bet I did, too!
   What were all of those buttons and badges in your lapels? Do you still have any of them?
   The photos are very evocative, and I’m glad to see that so many were autographed to you personally.

   Love the site Chuck…so great to hear you say more than “The time is now one o’clock…” I look forward to exploring more on the site, listening to more interviews and being a subscriber. Thanks to you and Ellen for sharing with us radio fans and keeping old time radio alive.

   Hooray, you’re back. Hi Chuck, I was so delighted to read in the Nostalgia Digest that you will be appearing on an upcoming program and that you have a website. Although I listen to Those Were the Days, I still miss hearing your voice. I haven’t investigated your site thoroughly, but you can bet I’ll be checking in to hear your interviews (again) and anything else you post. Glad to have you back!

   It was delightful to hear your friendly, familiar voice on TWTD’s today. I still enjoy the show and think Steve Darnall is doing a fine job – but it’s your voice I grew up listening to! I can’t wait until today’s show is over so I can begin exploring this excellent site! Thanks to you, and your wife, for sharing all this work!

   Years ago (1993) I called you while you were on the air for Those Were The Days; you were able to give me the address of Mr. Phil Harris. Long story short, I wrote to him and he wrote back with a signed photograph. I cannot thank you enough for you kindness and generosity. God Bless You Sir! God Bless You!

    It’s wonderful to have access to this site with all its excellent content. Thanks again, Chuck, for making this available to us. As someone who grew up listening to you & your fantastic show, I suspect I remember it the way you remembered all the programs from your youth.
    If I may, I’d like to make one suggestion regarding this site; that’s to install social media icons, which would permit us to “Like” easily link & share content with others.

    Chuck, it has been a delight to hear all the wonderful Old Time Radio shows you have provided over these many years. I first heard you when I moved to the Chicago area in 1979 and have been a Nostalgia Digest subscriber ever since.
    One treasure you have provided to us and to future generations is the large collection of interviews with so many people who were part of the Golden Age of Radio. It is always a pleasure to re-listen to them via your new website.
    But the best gift you have given to so many people has been your enthusiasm and love of Old Time Radio. You have conveyed this in every program! Moreover, you have created that same love and admiration to unknown thousands of people. Your legacy is one you may take great pride in, and for which a vast audience will be forever grateful!
    Best Wishes to you in your “retirement” and may you long bask in the warmth of the Arizona sun and in the glow from your many appreciative admirers.

    This site is wonderful. The interviews are priceless and of great interest as well as historical value. And I can’t believe all the TWTD broadcast are available. Thank you for all the work this took to put together – and all the great years on TWTDs. You’ve left a terrific legacy.
