OUR SPECIAL GUEST is seventeen-year-old listener Sue Stefanski who requested a program on Dick Powell.

MISS PINKERTON, INC (1940s) Dick Powell and Joan Blondell star in the first episode of a comedy-detective series.  Cast includes Gale Gordon and Hanley Stafford.  Mary Vance, a recent law school graduate, inherits a detective agency.

RICHARD DIAMOND, PRIVATE DETECTIVE (11-19-50) “The Jacoby Case” starring Dick Powell with Ed Begley and Virginia Gregg.  The police think  Jacoby, a convicted and deported criminal is back in town and out to get Diamond, “the guy who put Jacoby away.”

CAMPANA SERENADE (1943) Dick Powell stars in a musical variety program.
