JACK BENNY PROGRAM (12-19-43) Jack and Rochester go Christmas shopping. Don Wilson is the department store Santa Claus.

HALLMARK PLAYHOUSE (12-23-48) “Silent Night” is the story of the origin of our most played Christmas carol and how it came to be written.

WORLD NEWS TODAY (12-19-43) On the Sunday before Christmas Douglas Edwards and CBS correspondents bring listeners up to date on the WW II scene.

TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES (12-20-47) Ralph Edwards hosts the audience participation program with a holiday consequence for a contestant.  The show also visits a hospitalized, disabled WW II veteran for a warm-hearted, touching program for the Christmas season.

 FIBBER MC GEE AND MOLLY (12-21-43) The McGees go shopping for a Christmas tree.  Teeney and the gang sing “’Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
