OMNIBUS (10-17-54) Excerpt from the TV series audio track. Fred Allen reminisces about his career and discusses his book, “Treadmill to Oblivion.”

CHARLIE McCARTHY SHOW (11-2-47) Edgar Bergen and company welcomes guest Fred Allen.  Charlie has a toothache and learns that his tooth will have to be extracted. Under sedation, Charlie dreams that he dies and goes to “heck” where he meets Fred Allen.

BIOGRAPHY IN SOUND (1956) Jack Haley narrates a tribute to Fred Allen shortly after his death on March 17, 1956.  Features excerpts from many Allen broadcasts and comments from the people who knew him: Jack Benny, Harry Von Zell, Kenny Delmar, Alan Reed, Jimmy Durante, Tallulah Bankhead, Goodman Ace and others.

FRED ALLEN SHOW (4-11-48) Fred’s guest is actor Basil Rathbone, who joins Portland Hoffa, Kenny Delmar,  and the regulars.  Fred portrays his famous detective One Long Pan in a mystery script he wrote for Rathbone.
